oh, good! i love that they're on equal footing! that he's as taken with her as she with him, that his followers are as afraid of her power as they should be. (well, brax and dolohov, but i feel like that sets the tone for the lot)

just... one thing, cause it was jarring. if you were discussing a significant, transformative moment in your life, you wouldn't recap it like you were talking to someone who had no idea what happened. the same goes for your characters, recaps wouldn't feel like recaps just because the reader has no idea what went on.

you can always repack info in a way that delivers it but still makes the characters sound like people... something like "our unbreakable vow still makes sure we can't harm each-other. [some action that indicates wariness] i think dolohov is still upset we destroyed his family home. [stubbornness or determination] but then, you were absurdly wrong on muggleborn integration / [if you wanna go darker] he had it coming for not making you see sense on muggleborn integration." that way it doesn't sound like she thinks she's talking to an amnesiac

Oooh I love the final line! Sometimes Tomione squicks me out a bit when they are clearly not equals, or Hermione totally submits in all aspects, but I really like the balance of power here. You are on a fantastic role with all of these stories and am enjoying every bit of it. Sorry my reviews aren't more interesting or original but I want to express my appreciation!
