Usually the Grail only messes up when a distinctive anomaly happens (KH crossovers I'm looking at you) or is actively changing the plot (certain Persona crossovers come to my mind). In this scenario it is the latter; as 4 of the servants are all buddies with no small amount of Les Yay between them, it would probably be harder for them to fight each other pass a sparring match unless a command seal is used (and with all 4 having no real problem with rule twisting/breaking even that might not work).

Rarely does a servant get switched without a great change in the philosophy department so that shall be interesting to follow.

does it really 'require' being used on the Servant? because the Master/Servant contract exists on both parts so severing that contract should be the same no matter which one gets stabbed.
