I need this. I need this more than anything. I NEED this to happen! But it won't, sigh, so I'll just have to reread over and over because YES, Cas care and cinnamon roll Jack and healing and wings and everything that I love in one skillfully and beautifully written story! :')

AND THE ART! It's fantastic! :D There's nothing like a talented artist to give deeper life to a talented writer's work! This one gets bookmarked for sure, for a rainy day when I need to read some wing-healing! :D

What a fantastic story! And it had two of my most favorite things that I want to see: Castiel getting his wings back and Castiel surrounded by family who love him and show it. And hugs, of course. I couldn't help but compare bits of it to "Take Me Home," though, oddly enough, that was what came to mind, not "Tombstone." Or maybe not so odd! I love the concept of the fully restored grace healing his wings and how that would affect him and wing care and how the boys didn't just abandon him alone in a room to deal with it all on his own. Hopefully, Jack will get that Dean being gruff - though translating as anger - means he cares. Dean had my two favorite lines: "Dean gave the spray bottle in his hand a skeptical look, but whatever. If there was any slim chance this crap would work, he'd do it" and "'A little tired and sore' probably meant 'exhausted' in Cas-speak, so Dean was glad the stubborn angel was going to take it easy for once." I also really loved Jack's observation of what family does, along with the feedback from Dean. All in all, just a really wonderful story!

Aw, I really enjoyed this one! But yikes, that had to be excruciating growing wings back within the span of 24 hours or so. I'm glad he had his family to take care of him though, and I love the idea that Cas would have his wings back. The way you described his resurrection in this story actually reminded me of how the Doctor regenerates lol :P I liked seeing Jack get to take part in caring for Cas too, and now Cas has fluffy beautiful wings n_n Thanks for sharing this, and the fan art is also awesome!
