Been reading through all of your stories recently, love them all, particularly this one! Would love to see an update, but I also enjoy all of your other stories as well, (and realise that they're all roughly connected)

I finally went through more of my emails, to find the one about this. Ahhh! It's so good! As always, but it really is good. Roxanne seemed to be throwing some hints his way that he wasnt picking up on, like the buy me dinner first comment, and then even the tying her up with his tie. This story has a unique perspective on them, being so new in their careers, I am rather enjoying seeing it from this point on. Looking forward to your next update, keep up the great work. Also, glad to hear you and your majesty are getting better.

Okay, this is now one of my favorite Megamind stories out there. You've written six chapters of a masterpiece right here, and I hope that we eventually see some more.

I just found this story and read it all. I love your writing style and the interactions between Megamind and Roxanne. The banter is so witty and engaging. I can't wait to see what happens next!

This, right here, is absolutely fantastic. This fic, this chapter, I love it.

The bit at the beginning, with Megamind hiding in the closet... That was excellent. The best part, I think, is that nobody would guess. When he's on stage, playing the Villain, you think he's having the time of his life. You think there is absolutely nothing he'd rather be doing, and that's how he likes it. He tells himself he wants to smash the party, not join it, not be invited to it, and eventually he may make himself believe that... But it starts out as a lie.

His perspective on public image following the interviews was excellent. He admitts envy to himself, but his reasons are, for the most part, not what most people think. His thoughts on Roxanne and her preference for and new relationship with Metro Man were very good to read. I liked the bit about how having her attention was too good to last.

The evil plot was on point. I could practically SEE IT happening; that's how good the descriptions were, and i loved the details about the prep work required to make it look that good. That is some excellent and well-informed stagecraft, right there.

Megamind has a secret crush. Meanwhile, Roxanne definitely is seeing some over the flirtation and may be having thoughts about the supposed "seduction of evil" or whatever it is people talk about. Hot damn.

I loved the robbery, and the fear, and the bluff, and his thrill when he thought she might call his bluff. Excellent.
I also love the tiny, subtle hint Megamind dropped about the charity. I live how it was included, and his line " I never claimed to be anything but evil". I adore the fact that Roxanne was able to RECOGNIZE that hint, follow up, dig, and crack the story. Fantastic, wonderful, and very good characterization.

The bit at the end, with the escape and watching the report and holding the earrings... I loved that.

The very end was absolutely fantastic.
