Wait, so Danzo didn't take Shisui's eye? I know we all hate Danzo, and trust me I do as well, but the way this played out... well if you look at it from his point of view, then it's almost justifiable. Of course, the question still remains what he had intended to do with Shisui IF he would have managed to get him into Root. Would he use the Koto Amatsukami for his own gains? But the point still stands: he did NOT take Shisui's eye.
I like it that it was still made clear that Shisui was close to dying from his wounds. This made Yahizui's save realistic and logical, as well as his "suicide". Since he knew he was going to die from his wounds, he might as well give Itachi the MA.
And damn that was a rollercoaster of feels! Loved it! And now Yahizui is getting involved in this mess! I wonder how they will pull it out if they manage to get Shisui out of Konoha and what the hell will happen with the Uchiha now? Will Yahizui play a more active role? I don't see her backing down now, and with her curious nature... trouble is ahead.

Sigh maybe I’m rusty but I was hoping she learned from her mistake in Suna. I don’t feel like she learned properly at all. Hopefully realizing that her actions not only affect her but others as well plays a role. Well done! And oooon the next!

There are times where when Yahizui is straight-up unlikable with her impatience and rash behavior which drops her into hot water due to stupid things she does - makes me want to pull my hair out - but I can't help but continue wishing the best for her and hoping she'll learn and grow from her mistakes. I have faith, haha.

These past two chapters are killing me! It's building and building and I NEED to read more! It's the same feeling that creates a self-destructive monster out of me and stays up till 4am on a workday to read because I have no restraint. Obviously, what I'm saying, is that your writing is still as amazing as ever.

Oh Sasuke , Naruto you two are soooo cute. Getting all flustered and denying any kind of friendship.

I’m excited about Hizui making progress in her seals. I love how you’ve written the dynamics between Hizui and Ashina. It’s a push-pull sort of thing…Huzui pushes him away only to be drawn towards him. Honestly, I think Ashina is a decent enough teacher (if we leave out the fact that he always belittles her…but I guess he has his own reasons for being so bitter…). You know, how the Uzumaki way of sealing has been described reminds me of doing mental maths. It’s easy to do the simple calculations…but when it comes to complex formulae…my God. I always prefer a paper and a pen.

It kills me to see Riruka like this. And she is so, so strong. They may say that civilians are weak and all that, but Riruka has the mental strength that even Shinobi don’t manage to muster at times. “If she didn’t know how to take care of herself in a house full of medicinal plants, then no one did” Oh Yahizui, if only you knew….

Did Shuko find out that Shisui was on Itachi’s side? Did he try to hurt him? It’s still too early for that part where Danzo takes Shisui’s eye…But then, why is Itachi so panicked…? Now I’m scared.
