as mari is adorable and a teen and romance is a concern for them both.I like the bruise still affecting her for continuity.
pretty sure if he does figure her out his first reaction will be checking her over to make sure she is alright since she had left after being covered in blood. Boy literally saw her pass out for a moment there. plus finding out it was his dear friend and princess marinette who is so cared for by her family and friends. the idea he could have lost her as well at the same time with his lady without knowing at the time will probably freak him out. Both of them probably needs a hug. being alone to recover was probably good for mari on some level but everyone needs contact and its always nicer to know someone cares. especially after a incident that bad.

they can talk about the affects hawkmoth most likely knowing his identity might have. security measures they can take. it might be fun if we see chat/Adrien fuss over her bruise. Or if Adrien might address the difference in behavior and get some answers.
Part of me says they need to address everything else before romance...but some part of me(sounds like chat) says some romance would be appreciated
