I honestly don't think that Lonnie would really be scared of the adults or Audrey or Chad attacking her. Her mom saved China, her dad is the General.

Nice, I like family day stories where someone stands up for the VK's. In a number of the stories I've found, the VK's stand up for themselves, followed up by Ben sometimes. I'm with you, I wish someone had stood by them in the movie, like Lonnie and Doug. I actually found a story where Doug stands up for them against Chad. It's called The Turning Point by AslansHow24. I also like how you made Lonnie fair. In some fanfictions, people bash Queen Leah, portraying her as completely prejudiced and nonredeemable. I understand why, since she was out of line, and who knows if she ever actually changed her opinions. But Lonnie also acknowledges that Queen Leah has a right to be angry. The way I understand the Sleeping Beauty story, Leah had really wanted a child, and then she lost her almost as soon as she received her because of Maleficent's curse. I've heard the argument that she and Stephan shouldn't have slighted Maleficent by not inviting, and that that was really what brought on Maleficent's wrath, but Maleficent was still wrong to curse a child for what her parents had done. I believe that really struck at Leah, because Aurora was the victim when she hadn't done anything. Anyway, the point is Leah had a right to be angry at Maleficent, and I like how you had Lonnie point that out, but still stand by her friends by stating that Mal had nothing to do with that. Nice work for having her point out that some of the heroes were raised by villains too, though maybe Lonnie could have told Chad that his mother was raised by a villain and she turned out to be a kind person, or maybe Cinderella could have pointed that out. I feel you're keeping Lonne and everyone else in character, and I love how this oneshot turned out. Great work!

This was written beautifully & justifiable. Lonnie smart choice in defending Mal & her siblings. Doug same thing, way to show backbone don't let Cad Harming scare you. I sensed a hint of Jay/Lonnie in there too. ;)
