So, if Arbok was beside Giovanni, why didn't he/she do anything to Giovanni after injured his trainer? How did Giovanni just walk up to Koga without Koga ordering Arbok to retaliate or something? Koga clearly was determined to stop him but just conveniently forgot about his pokemon right next to him?

It's a good ending, but I didn't see the point of starting another story. I see you decide to use the manga s.s. anne instead of the anime one. It seems Koga out of the 3 seems to under stand the downside for working with team rocket.

Well Ash had to met Blaine at some point due to how you added the other team rocket gym leaders, you did a great blend of the anime and manga Blaine.

I see what you mean about having to force out writing it, it's smaller than the others; but it had to been done. Well Ash had to seen Giovanni in his true colors, and also you had to show the Master Ball at some point. In the lets go game Mewtwo can block it.

Well you got Bite right with being a dark move and with it being able to take down the barrier. You showed unlike others that Ash has learned something and is using it. Also Ash with being paranoid with persain is another nice small detail and with Giovanni with him being power hungry at the end.

Makes sense that Giovanni would want to use Ash to lure Mewtwo, also it does with Koga having morals with wanting to protect ash. Many people don't know anything with the manga or who sliver is.

Everything makes sense in this chapter, such as Sabrina getting headaches from Mewtwo. Surge sleeps like a soldier that's been though hell and back. Also with Giovanni telling others about the project.

At the time it made sense that You would bring all 3 of the leader that are with team rocket as well, Training with Koga makes sense with him wanting to prefect battle moves and how to use them better. Also with knowing trust issues with Pokémon as well .

You show that Surge expertise in one type show, but does knowledge in other types as well: but limited. When it comes to Charmander and not knowing how strong he is a given, we can based it off in Gen 7 it's 36/37 compared to gen one being 38, but it was the lowest in gen 3 being 31. So with Charmander being ready to evolve day one is plausible. same could be said about many of Ash's Pokémon as well.

A fan as well, again you made him feel like a person with his own past,expertise, and demons. I still were you hinted the legendary beasts(dogs),I don't know how I missed that before. I'm fine with it in both stories(if you write the other story).

Surge reminds me of a military veteran I once knew who was a cheerful guy who was group player and tells his story by being group player was what kept him alive. Other than that, this chapter remind me of many manga when the MC travels around and gets helps from many or some along their travels( self-improvement manga), it works for this story.

Sabrina feels like a person here, unlike other writer just give us a small introduction. Also the game counterparts and some of the other manga ones are very different as well. I really like how you had Ash met obtain his other two starters(great alternative universes effect).

You fusion of manga and the anime here really shows how well of the job you have done and Team Rocket Sabrina works well here.

The dynamic that you've established between Giovanni and Ash really shows,also love the interaction with Ash and Squirtle as well.

After reading chapter 2 a while ago it was the detail and the reasons why. Like there are more wrong ways to use a Pokémon, than right ways. Well the same could be said about many other things in real life. Also with Ash not being at the Pokémon center along with other events will and had changed the story greatly and many writer don't seem to do that.
