This is adorable! Also very much a real life possibility. My Ma asked my mom to marry her in a note she slipped into mom's pocket so this story hits my sense of romance with lots of happy squeals and several awws.

Someone’s been reading the textbook...
I love that Newt proposed over a letter. It’s definitely something he would do, and yet I liked that in this instance he wished he could have done something else.
Also love all the little stories about his family and his beasts, but that they were more than just tangents and actually connected to what he was trying to say.
His line about it being real and that he would not cross it out was adorable, and I love that he came over to America to see her regardless of what her answer was, and that they would work through it no matter what.
And you gave Queenie and Jacob a happy ending too.
