OH. MY. GOD!

I LOVE YOU FOR THIS. Seriously. I LOVE you SO HARD for this. This is one of the most BEAUTIFUL and haunting Akabane fics I've ever read, and I will be squeeing with joy over this for days to come.

I don't even know where to start. EVERYTHING was perfect. Ban's flustered rage. Everybody else's stunned reactions. Akabane's shifting/hovering between here, and there, and still keeping it all together for the most part. And I'll be honest, as an Akabane/Himiko shipper, I was hoping for a bit of that, and even though there really isn't due to her being unconscious LOL, it sets off enough hint of it for me to make me happy. (It's what I like to think, anyway. :) ) I even liked the bit about Akabane smoking (albeit once in a great while); it makes perfect sense that he'd indulge the habit at certain times. (I myself write him as a non-smoker, but like you said, under the right circumstances...!)

This is so wonderfully well-done. THANK YOU. You made my entire week and perhaps month too. I will forever LOVE this fic. :)

I really like how you portrait the different persons. (Akabane is my favourite)

your writing is gorgeous! i love the way you write these characters, the different themes you explore with them and the different dynamics. akabane’s medical background is so fascinating imo and i wish more people would explore it and i’m so happy and thankful that you did, and you did such a great job with it! this and “assistance” are by far my favorite of all the GB fics i’ve read, and i see you have another one in the works listed in your bio! i can’t even wait for that! such a super job, this was stunning, and i can’t wait to see what’s next :)

This is a terrific story. I absolutely loved how you wrote it, even if I didn't understand the Divine Providence thing you mentioned (I haven't read the manga). :) Akabane having actual doctor skills is one my favorite things, and the way you portrayed him and the situation was amazing.
