For your questions, I think Captain Marvel is usually in space so she isn't there to join in, but I get the feeling she's in reserve, Nick always has a contingency, I feel if the Avengers ever all fell in battle, Nick would call her in to try and save the day. Just my take on where she was in the other movies. Hawkeye has a major role in Avengers 4 apparently, and we know Ant-Man will as well, they explained them away as having taken house arrest but expect them to probably be the first two C.M joins up with in Avengers 4 to take the fight to Thanos once more.

Great fic! i watched infinity war and my heart was breaking all the way through but especially this scene :( Also, in the movie it said Ant man and Hawkeye turned themselves in because it was too much of a risk with their families and couldn't be on the run so they are both on house arrest after civil war ( if you have seen the ant man and the wasp trailer, it shows Scott on house arrest as well)

I just watched it too and I just couldn't breath when I saw Peter at the end, why do they have to do this to us, why Marvel, why?

I had the same thought coming out of the movie. Poor Peter, him crying as he hugged Tony killed me. This made me cry, but I really needed Tony’s reaction.

Hawkeye and Ant Man took house arrest so they could stay with their families. So assume we have them plus Wasp (looking forward to that movie), Pepper and Happy, plus the original Avengers. Also Wong is till at the Sanctum and Shuri is in her lab. Yes, Vision lost the stone but his body is still there (unlike the others) so if they get him to Shuri she may be able to bring him back and help Banner connect with Hulk again as well. Yes, Spider-Man got to me too. Of all of them he was the youngest and least experienced. Rocket (new name Rabbit - did they not have raccoons on Asgard?) lost Groot again - but part of him is in Thor's new axe handle. Also they sort of said Valkerie and Ramonda would be in the movie - maybe their scenes will end up in the extended cut DVD. Did you notice both Gamora asking Peter to kill her as well as Vision asking Wanda to kill him? Those both got to me. Captain Marvel fused with an alien so she may be off planet somewhere, only to be called as a last resort.
