I just finished 4th year. You haven't changed the storyline too much, but you have enough to make it interesting coming from people who are not influenced by parents [and other relatives] only by their caregivers. Since there are so many of them, there is not the emphasis on one child - even Harry - because he is not supposed to know his backstory.

The fact I'm still reading is indication enough that I am enjoying it. otherwise, I just quietly slip away. Hoping to start OotP very soon.
