Ponch is a drama queen. You've done well xD And I just looooove that Jon is mainly the main here :) He didn't get much of the limelight in the show, in my opinion.

I was really excited to see how the field trip would work out, but as soon as Jon asked for Ponch to give the tour, I knew that everything was going to go straight to heck in one way or another. :-D
I could immediately relate to Kate's class and the way that Ponch reacted to them. One of my good friends in high school had the same kind of image that the kids in your story do, and I remember being so puzzled that everyone was afraid of him when he was such a nice guy. I've had a lot of friends who dressed and acted like the kids you described, and I'm with Kate: you've got to keep an open mind because they're often good people underneath the eyeliner and combat boots. Shame on you, Ponch!
(That's probably exactly what he and most other people would really do, though.)

Is it odd that in some ways, Kate reminds me of Mr. Kotter? Sticking up for the remedial kids when no one else will. You go, Kate!

I feel bad for Jake. He got way in over his head without meaning to. I'm sure that happens to all too many people.

Ponch eating a Ding-Dong while Jon fills out the paperwork is just perfect and so so funny. :-D
Along with him going on a date with the nurse. Oh, Ponch! What are we going to do with him? :-D

Poor Bear. Technically, all of this is Derrick's fault and not his, but he's a sweetheart for trying to make things better.
