I thought one of the coolest duos on that show were Max and Booth and the relationship between them, because I think they ended up really respecting each other. Both had a fierce love of Bones. Well done.

The more I think about it, the more I get angrier with Max. I know according to his wife it was her decision to leave without the kids, but Max should have put his foot down. I also still feel he should have been checking on his daughter when she was in the system. He easily could have checked on her bad THAT is what I can't forgive. Does anyone blame Brennan for not trusting him with her daughter? I sure do not.

Booth...Edwin didn't deserve such a sweet son. I cry every single time during that scene with him, Brennan, and the box. The music is so sad yet beautiful.

Glad to see Booth get beyond the demons in the box so to speak. I always liked that Max wanted Booth and Brennan together from early on.

You really did a magnificent job of tying some seemingly unrelated things into a cohesive and touching chapter... Brennan's recollection of her time caring for Andy, her worries about being a good mom, Max's hope that he can continue caring for his new baby granddaughter, and Booth finally looking through his father's keepsake box...All connected by the importance of parental nurturing and care of their children, a responsibility which Edwin Booth failed to fulfill. Well done.

This version was so much more than what we got in the show. You included some good memories Booth pushed down through the years. I can see him in the path to forgiving his father.

Something here was very moving. The homeyness. Brennan growing comfortable as a mother. Booth giving Christine her bath. The end was bittersweet. Max and Booth had their own special connection.

I knew Brennan was gonna be upset...she HATES it even when he gets a paper cut (as does he towards her). I felt sorry for Howard, I don't know what I would have done either.

I liked how you were able to insert a quick case into the story, solve it, and then use it as the basis for the discussion about Booth being in the field with/without back-up. It was clever and the case was interesting. Seemed like Booth was using a good dose of logic on Brennan, which I found to be amusing (and which always seems to work on her).
