Really ! How are you able to write sexual thoughts and masturbation without being vulgar ? I don't know, and I don't care because it's exactly what I need to feel between Zelda and Link. They fantasize about each other but in the purest form of it. Their lives are driven by honor and duty first, but the love and admiration for the other comes immediately after, and even if they fight that attraction it's stronger than their will, stronger than themselves.
I want to think that when Link's fantasies suddenly changes in his mind it's because Zelda is not very far from him inside the stables, dreaming those things, and that their bond is so strong that they are somewhere connected and he is able to see what she is dreaming of. (Is this a completely stupid theory? :P lol)
And a special mention to your description of the damp atmosphere, it is very well done. It's so important to have a decor depicted with details for the readers to feel the great all.
