Great story! However I wanted to point out that the last trainer on nugget bridge gave Ash the Brick Break TM, then you had him buy another in Vermillion city. Was that purposeful?

The dialogue is severely lacking. It just sounds predictable and lifeless, in my opinion. Furthermore, you are meant to separate dialogue. For example:

“Hi, how are you?”

“I am doing good, and you?”

This is what you were doing;

“Hi, how are you?” “I am doing good, and you?”

That is not meant to happen.

Additionally, when a new character is speaking, a new paragraph should be started. You include multiple speakers within the same paragraph, rather than starting a new paragraph, which makes it all the more confusing. Each new line has to be indented.

Just some advice. I see tons upon tons of potential in this story.

Great story, I love the idea of ash having. Pokemon that are barely ever seen in fics, I hope that Ash catches a pseudo legendary at some point in this fix as it would give a significant power boost to his team and overall increase the type diversity especially if you went for something like a gible, however that may just be me saying that as garchomp is my favourite Pokémon, however any of the others except dreepy would be very good. Please update soon.

Never knew why the Bulbasaur line couldn't learn bite or crunch. I mean they have sharp teeth, as seen in the imagery. They should be good for biting if some of the pokemon's innate aura is focused into its teeth to strengthen it and keep it from breaking?

The Kabuto line is kind of fragile but I look forward to see how you/ash tackles that and covers his bases.

Wouldn't geodude or onix know earthquake or at least magnitude? Unless Brock was going easy on him, which is very much a possibility

I hope Ash manages to train his Bulbasaur so that it is as manoeuvrable as the ninja Venusaur by Nihei in the episode "the legend of the ninja hero" in x and y when it evolves. Would be great if it could tank as well as manoeuvre around opponents.

Ash should get a pawniard.

Great battle, adding Growlithe to the team is nice. If Ash ever meets and battle Damien again, have Ash use Growlithe to beat him.

I realized my mistake saying Kabuto was ground when she is a rock/water type pokemon...
So Ash gets a Growlithe instead of the Charmander with immense potential and on top let Damian get away with abusing and abandoning his pokemons without reporting him, tho this is a fanfic and things can be changed drastically...
