I've seen your story before on Mediaminer and like it. It sort of suggests that Akio's grasp on Touga is a bit tighter than the other duelists. At least enough to make him stay and bring doubt to his own memories. Well, that was waht I got from it. Touga doens't want to admit to himself that friendship exists, love exists, and that he actually *needs* those things himself. He's just not secure enough to accept in what his mind would make him vulnerable to other people. So it would make sense that he would want to believe that the evidence of such things is false.
