Oh wow this story this was an emotional ride. I really admire your writing style and the character interactions they were well done and in character.

Silver and Espio's interactions were lovely to read and there was a smile on my face when they kissed.

okay so i just finished reading this... and... oh my god? it feels like a ghibli movie and i don't know how to describe it? it's so pretty?

the first thingy i'm gonna point out is the fic is the writing style: i really admire your writing style and how it breaks away from traditional descriptive paragraphs and proper grammar to enhance the emotion.

(example: when silver's extreme gear fucks up: "He crashed through the leaves, branches, twigs, splinters cutting up his arms and -he grabbed his gear... shooting away like he-didn't-know-what, narrowly avoiding the ground and flying up, up and branches, branches-! ... willing it to stop, fucking stop-)

it's a rush of objects silver sees in a blur and the fragments going in his mind and the fact that it's clauses and not sentences gives the vibe that: it's going too fast, he can't think straight, it's a fucking panic. and i love it. it nails down the emotion better than a paragraph with eloquent metaphors.

second thing that i admire: the execution of the plot. it's a simple story, really. silver's bestie blaze is dying and he has to go back into the past to nab some chaos drives to save her. that's it. but how it's executed that hooked me in. the little details that silver can't read the signs or doesn't know what everyday beverages are charmed me. his interactions with espio and how silver notes that the former leads and he's the one that always follows (which allues to blaze, nice touch). and the fact they just learn to get along based on communication and secret keeping and alkjsfjsakfdjsa;lfjaowrhg[oahrb[oa aaaaaaaaaa it's the little things that i love

last thing i wanna mention: the kind of future you had silver come from. it's a soft apocalypse and it struck me personally because it's unique compared to the futures ive seen silver from (BURNING ANARCHY HELL WOO WOO). no its... its a pleasing aesthetic end of the world. the ocean and earth are clean but the algae are devouring the earth and it's like nature has consumed civilization as a whole. it makes me intrigued for how the worldbuilding of such a future is
