Well, damn. This was so wholesome and amazing in so many different ways... I've only really seen a playthrough of RE2, and know nothing else of it, but I loved Leon and Claire and I absolutely loved this!

Nice, I can't believe you added the before un-had cleft in his effing chin, but I liked it I actually think I like it better than the first ending, but I think it's because I like how they were able to become a thing earlier rather than after a binge with self-destructive Kennedy. This was amazing especially because it's my two favorite characters and my favorite pairing, hopefully you make more stories for this pairing of Claire and Leon because this was amazing.

Holy balls there was a lot of things going on in this chapter. But you’ve summed up the many games nicely, many kudos to you for even remembering all of the details.

While I liked both endings you’ve presented, I think I prefer this one just a tad. I loved that Leon got a second chance to redo everything and willingly re-lived the nightmare. He could of easily said “fuck it I’m out of here,” but we know he could never live with himself if he stood back and watched the world burn.

Yay for him reuniting with Sherry and Claire in a more normal world. I laughed at the NIN reference, ha of course he’d say something like that. This is exactly the type of ending that I wanted him to have. Great job, it’s one of my favorite RE stories. If you keep cranking out alternative endings, I’m gonna keep reading them!

You know I genuinely felt bad for Leon throughout the story. I always thought of him as the man who’s got it all, but has nothing to show for it. Apart of me wanted him to wake up and find he HAD it all, lord knows he deserves some happiness. But this was a fitting end, starting with him sobering up getting his life back together.

What a fun read, I am also eagerly awaiting your alternate ending.

I've been reading your Cleon works as of late and they are amazing! I'm quite new to this fandom (gameverse?) and I'm so glad I came across your stories here. You are an amazing writer. I'm so soft for Claire and Leon, these two bbys deserve the world and then some. So, thank you for this! I was really entertained that I skipped a few hours of sleep and finished this hours after midnight. Lol

Fuck dude, this story made me feel things more than I wanted to to. I’m excited for this alternate ending, don’t keep us waiting too long! All in all great story!
