NecrorexSparda Juubi-No-Kishin chapter 10 . 8/16
Please let the firelink greatest be at full power instead of it being nerfed!
oceans realm chapter 9 . 8/8
Interesting story so far. I am not familiar with the dark souls games but it does not impede much in the reading.

I admit, I nearly dropped the story at this chapter. What I am often looking out for is coherence and a well-oiled story and the end of chapter 9 was not very much on the point here. Adrien agrees to join the jaeggers, alrigh, but for wrong reasons I believe. Why should he agree to do a favor to the emperor in exchange for him looking out for corruption when it is his duty and role in the first place ? I would have liked for Adrian to say something along the lines of "looking out for the corrupts is your duty as emperor. You should not need a favor of mine to do so in the first place. I will agree to help you depending on the situation, but you should certainly not need the demand of another to look out for your empire and its corruption."

I will continue reading because the plot-line is solid for what I read tuntil there but I hope that Adrian will not spend all his time with the jaeggers and fighting night raid in opposition to him looking out for the corruption.

sharinnegan101 chapter 24 . 7/28
Honestly, I liked to imagine that Adrien somehow lost all of his pigment to the Undead Curse, (even though, admittedly, that makes absolutely no sense,) but my honest guess would be that he's from Irithyll. It's great to have that confirmed, as it could imply that in his previous life he knew various major characters (aka bosses,) among them!

I'm intrigued that Adrien has gone along so willingly with Esdeath's plans. No warning the rebels, no offer of mercy, no compromise. One could easily make the case that Adrien is just fed up with the Revolutionary Army (particularly Night Raid,) trying to thwart him at every twist and turn, but honestly, it seems to imply that Adrien really is starting to hollow, and while he currently still has affection for his friends, (as evidenced by his anger toward the threat against Bols and his family he is beginning to lose any empathy an undead could have, especially for some strangers that are out to kill him.

I don't know much about the Wild Hunt neither but they sound plenty interesting. This fight scene is pretty cool to read and it's nice to see Adrian GRADUALLY dominate his enemies. I wonder if he'll end up killing another member
Rainsfere chapter 24 . 7/27
I know Najenda is going with the two birds one stone approach here but do she really want to mess with a pissed off Adrien? I sure as hell wouldn't. Besides, Adrien is one man while the Wild Hunt is full of killers and psychopaths who have done far more harm to innocent people than Adrien ever has. I'm sure once she shows up she'll assess the situation before making any real moves but the smart money is to help Adrien. With him at their back they can defeat the Wild Hunt here and fight Adrien another day. Besides, Adrien has a track record of killing at least one Night Raid every time they encounter him and right now she can't afford to lose any more members. The only issue would be Sasha. If Najenda can't reel her in then everything could go to hell.

Seryu worrying for Adrien will never not be adorable. I do find it interesting that no one has bothered to visit her at least. Bols I can understand since he has a family and Esdeath since she gave out the punishment. But Seryu's punishment was that she couldn't speak with Adrien, she can speak with anyone else. It really makes you wonder just how close they all are if they aren't making time to at least see each other.

I'm not at all surprised that the Wild Hunt has such little information on Adrien. They're so cocky and blood lust driven that nothing else matters. To them he's just an obstacle. It doesn't matter what eh can do, he'll die just like the rest. That's a fatal mistake that Enshin found out the hard way. The others will too.

As if this fight wasn't personal for Adrien to begin with, the Wild Hunt just had to make it even more personal. Adrien knew Syura was after Lilith but he had no idea that they would go after the Jaegers too. Bols in particular. Adrien genuinely likes Bols so threatening him and his family was a big mistake.

It seems like Adrien is getting his ass kicked right now but honestly that really has to do with the fact that he doesn't know the Wild Hunt can do just yet. He's still trying to figure out who can do what and what their limits are. Once Adrien does figure it all out and how they operate it'll be game over for them. Doubly so once Night Raid shows up. Hopefully they all get taken out in a single swoop. If Syura survives then I can live with it but I really hope the others die. I mean, they're screwed no matter what now. Even if they don't, once Adrien reports this to Esdeath then they are all as good as dead. If Syura survives I find it unlikely he'll keep his head down. He'll be vengeful and desperate for payback.

I was really surprised that Esdeath sent Adrien there knowing that the Wild Hunt was there. I really didn't expect that. She's knows that Syura is Honest's son and the influence Honest wields. But then again Esdeath only answers to the Emperor, not Honest. Plus I think Esdeath knew that she would have to take them down eventually, especially since she knows Syura is after someone very precious to Adrien. As far as she is concerned this is just speeding up the process AND by proxy keeps her hands clean. She ordered Adrien take the castle, not kill the Wild Hunt. They were just collateral.

I imagine the next chapter is going to be chaotic. You have the castle soldiers, Night Raid, Adrien and the Wild Hunt all trying to defeat the other with different goals in mind. I can't really predict what will happen next, not with Sasha there and how Najenda feels about Adrien. Either way, it's going to be bloody. Keep up the good work and until next time.
