And yes, I’ve moved on to this one! I really love to read stories where they can be happy and enjoy family moments like this. I literaly cried when Sabine goes alone for those drinks, when they give each other one Chakadi ang got married, and when Ezra found out he was going to be a father. Also poor Wedge (I died in that chapter) and Jacen for Chopper just being himself all along. They are all so in character that this could perfectly be canon for me!

Hello there! I just read your entire story in about 3 days and DAAAMN THIS WAS GOOD! I have read a lot of the Ezrabine Fanfics and I have to say this one is definitely on my top two and now, so are you :D. I'll be reading your other stories and I hope they're as good as this one ahahah!
I really enjoyed the fact that you captured each character perfecly, and each chapter was its own masterpiece.
Chapters 1 and 2 were pretty funny, and Ezra makes it super funny.
Chapter 3 was hilarious, and I can only imagine how it would have been if Wedge had punched Ezra
Chapter 4 was my personal favorite, because I love watching Ezra and Sabine with her family and the whole Redor'leya (I don't remember how to write it ) tradition was both interesting and pleasing, especially from Sabine's POV. You could tell she was dumbfounded the entire time!
Chapter 5 was really emotional, and it felt like something that was necessary for the story and seeing Sabine finally admit to herself how she felt was awesome. The waitress conforting Sabine was a real nice touch.
Chapter 6 was my second favorite, because it shows how much they have grown together and the Chakadi Root from Ezra actually surprised me! After reading the ending, where Ezra lifts Sabine with the force and drops her in the Snow had me genuinelly happy, and I thank you for it! :D
Chapter 7 was almost my second favorite, buuut that line at the end of chapter 6 made the call. Hondo was as always a barrel of laughter and when Ezra finds out about the baby it's super cool! The black sun was pretty awesome too, not gonna lie ahahah
Chapter 8 was the best conclusion I could have hoped for: A happy ending, Jacen nailing his date and Chopper's line at the end, which killed me btw!
I thank you for writing this, you made my week and I will save this as my favorite story to re-read some other time!

Loved the story. You build cultural worlds well. Something that is really a gift. Never been that good at it myself.

Chopper is a constant in the Rebels universe. He was watching each of his crew mates from the moment that Hera rescued him on Ryloth. Just because he can be a jerk doesn’t mean he doesn’t care for his family.

Good thing Jacen is warning the poor girl now.

I like Mira’s hero worship of Jacen. Nice touch. Maybe she put the droid up to shenanigans, just to keep an eye on things.

That last chapter was the greatest epilogue I've ever seen!

If you DON'T read Hondo's lines in Jim Cummings' voice, you're a monster.

You may not particularly like this chapter, but it truly is interesting. While fairly straightforward in plot, there’s a lot more in the details. Particularly Sabine’s resolve hardening to wait for Ezra. I mean, imagine if he died? Or never had the opportunity to return? Granted, that’s likely why she left to find him, after seven years.

So, re-reading this, as well as Matchmaker, again, and I noticed two words in that story (which I’ve reached my review limit for, so it goes here) so innocuous they don’t really stand out.

‘She glanced at Ezra and had a pretty good guess how he’d want this matchmaker crap to turn out.

That would be really awkward.

For her.’

If we follow the timeline you’ve established, this is after ‘Further Adventures in Chocolate’. So after this story, subtitle ‘The Wedge Incident’. Meaning that Sabine is still on the fence about running with her feelings for Ezra, if she hasn’t started to already.

AND, if our prayers are answered and you DO write a follow-up story to Matchmaker regarding Ezra and Sabine finding the original results, that could bring us to uncharted territory.

Looking forward to future works from you! It’s been a while, not unusual, but since your last author note read like a farewell, I’m a little on edge. So write a story to fix it.

This story is awesome, and I especially love how you had Chopper follow Jacen on his date. That must have been terrifying.

Let Chopper, Be Chopper, He would never admitted it but he cares the most about his organic family and their strange habits.
