Thia story was very good. Having faith of an update.

Wow, it took two people to make a story like this, and you still didn't produce a story that makes logical sense in it's story telling or character interaction going by some of the more thought our reviews. (I didn't read the story, and looking at some of the thought out reviews, I won't be)

So Blake is made an assassin, instead of just a white gang member that stole dust from SDC trains. Darker past for what reason? Seems pretty contrived. A super well known assassin, too. Defeating the whole point of the word.

Weiss has lost family but still has her sister, father, and brother? So her mom, but wasn't she liked in a bombing, not in an assassination attempt? Also wouldn't assassinations be ridiculously hard to do discreetly in RWBY?

Naruto understands human psychology and social dynamics well enough to do a PR campaign to boost positivity, but is too dense to get when girls give him signals? Also well enough to, apparently, manipulate multiple people into doing what he wants. That paints a supremely bad picture of his self esteem and his teammates, even before their Vytal festival.

Pyrrha might as well not be in team JNPR or J's partner at all. That's pretty meh, especially since she was convinced to do it for more fame, which she specifically went to Beacon to avoid. The reasons to essentially abandon her partner and get more fame also seem flimsy when compared to what we know about her desires and personality.

Unreliable Narration is one thing. "Contrived to be darker for what seems to be shits and giggles" is another.

This story really isn't for me, at this point. I liked the premise well enough, but then it rapidly turned darker than Canon for reasons that seem half arsed, introduced toxic OCs (toxic on stereotypes, whether transphobic or the "all women are at least Bi" stuff, or the "must protect R and N from the world even though N is, essentially, an assassin and they know it" thing), twisted character histories until they weren't recognizable and everything got darker, and characters reasoning took a complete 180.

Yeah, if the apparent life purpose of his teammates was to "cock block him into eternal virginity" and "literally steal every single potential relationship" then they aren't friends. They aren't even teammates. They've been NTRing him for three to four years. Anyone shows interest in him? Seduced. No relationship for him! Even if done out of "protectiveness," or whatever, that is a bit too much. Even worse because it would make him think that he literally will never find a girl that won't abandon him for, what seems to be, a one night stand or orgy with his teammates.

Even for comedies sake, that's a bit too much.

It's a bit dumb, too, since they aren't allowing him to make his own mistakes or grow as a person.

You implying him to be "too dense" to pick up on the signals halfway through the chapter when just one chapter ago it was the opposite is pretty "meh" as far as any reasoning goes. Then stating it to be because they want him for themselves? I call bullshit. Seducing rivals is harder than intimidating them. Especially since there would be an inherent dislike on the part of the seducer.

Which isn't even mentioning that the timeline doesn't really add up. Team ORJ was "born" after they won the festival as a result of them deciding the N was theirs after they tried to seduce him but only scared him off? Except they were lesbians before, and Naruto Pretty much states they had ORJs in the dorm room even before the festival, which was apparently why he had no consistent sleeping space (since he wasn't allowed in the "lesbian only" orgies that took place) so the rumor would have alive before then.

And didn't they win it in their third year? And he just started fourth? That would mean the rumors started over a summer break.

Also, Pretty sure Crocea Mors is not easily destroyed by an explosion. It was a family heirloom used in at least one war. And it has survived quite a lot in the show. Having him lose it against a Grimm, only to recover it later, would have been fine. Having it destroyed, which means the shield sheath is half useless? A bad decision. Even worse, at this point in the story he wouldn't have been able to use it well enough to do much beyond stab and slash things recklessly, anyway, since he's essentially a civilian with Aura unlocked. One Grimm tackling him or a wrongly angled slash could have easily made him lose it without the need to destroy it.

Well, this has been a great read. Very much looking forward to future chapters. Hmm, can't wait to see Naruto and Winters interaction and what there relationship is like.
