I think my favorite line was when they were looking at Keith and shiro and being like "you know what would make it better? if we were in it too"

Awwwwwww... the ending.. I would say it is bitter sweet but.. I guess every ending is isn’t it? NAIMJSKJSHENFIOA love it.. Love You.. LOVE IT ALL

My favorite line was probably, “Your heart is too big for the universe” like wow fam. That was some Shakespeare level stuff. I’m so glad we got our recovery fic. And Pidge. I love Pidge. She’s my favorite. I also love the way you showed how people deal with things differently. It was nice. And very realistic. Nice job. 10/10

I loved this follow-up so much. All of the character's reactions are so wonderful and in character. And I think that I love Black Paladin Keith stories. That was such an interesting angle and I don't see that many fanfic writers exploring it.

Hey, this was amazing! I loved the relationship between Lance and Pidge in this, I thought that it was really cute and still believable. And I love that they get a recovery arc! I honestly would enjoy further chapters of this.

i live for fics like these! no but seriously, i really liked it. i liked 'The cost of winning', and i love that this continues to build Lance and Pidge's friendships, while also incorporating their relationships with other members of the team. My favourite bit i think, is when Lance stands up for Keith, or when Pidge and Lance go to talk with Shiro, and how that whole conversation went. Also, the scene where we see Shiro and Keith talking, Shiro being hesitant to hug Keith, and Keith just hugging him anyway, because we all know that it takes very little for Keith to forgive Shiro. Great job, I really enjoyed it :D

This is amazing. Tbh, I'm running out of ways to tell you how awesome your writing is. You're just so good at it I don't even know what to tell you. I loved everything about this, especially the "pidge wants a group hug" thing. It was so cute. No writer is perfect, but I can't think of anything that could've been done better, with this or the original. Thank you Lizzy (or lily, I can't remember) for the commision, so we could all read this masterpiece

I actually almost cried at this, throughout the whole thing I wanted to hug everyone! Including Coran and the mice, HUGS ALL AROUND!

Ohhhhh yes yes yes yes!

(I know I said the bittersweet ending worked and gave some closure but I didn’t know how much I needed this until I read it)

First, like I’ve said thirty times before, Pidge and Lance are my favorite platonic pair on the castle ship(Keith isn’t on the ship anymore so he doesn’t count), so getting anymore content like that is kinda just me with a power vacuum on high!

But in all actuality, this was really great. I love how you handled Lance’s PTSD (although you did have some practice with that *glares at Colorand how it reared its head to the point where Lance’s eyes glazed over and the only one who could break his trance would be Pidge.

And also, I am loving that Pidge was such a comforting force. Pidge isn’t someone to understand comfort, but she’s also not some cold hearted bitch who is only willing to find her family. It’s hard to find the right amount of compassion for Pidge but I think you really pulled that off!

And the Shiro angst! Usually I’m on board with you for all the Lance angst and Keith angst after I read Sin, but Shiro angst is something I haven’t seen much (probably because he’s a clone. Writing his struggles probably wasn’t easy to squeeze in there but you did it with the “I’m not your leader anymore” thing that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

(I’ve also been missing Keith so extra points to you for giving him a bit of an arc!)

Super glad that there was a recovery arc. I like how Lance and Pidge addresses the issues of the arena with Shiro (Kuron). Nice happy ending! Can't wait for more!
