A bit irrelevant to this particular chapter, but I really like this story, especially the parts with Carly in it, haha. you have done such a great job with this story

I loved this particular chapter, mostly because we almost never see Bruno and Aki interact in the anime (which was one thing that bothered me, Aki never really interacted with anyone other than Yusei and rarely Crow and the twins, and almost NEVER Jack or Bruno, and given that you dedicated and ENTIRE CHAPTER to it, I'm guessing it bugged you, too).

All the salt. :) Why do you think I clicked on this fic before I even saw your name? I was salty about Paradox and his utter lack of screentime, as well as several other things.

Called it, I knew that Stephanie was Aporia's mom. Also, Placido, don't you dare touch Carly. She's already died once! And probably twice if we count your future. Also, Jose, don't you dare touch Aki. With the changes you've been making, I can't be sure if she'll be okay or not.

The bit with the Earthbound God... that was legitimately horrifying. From what I can tell, that was during the bit where Dark Signer Carly battled Divine?

Love the bit you added about Sherry and Chiasma. I had stared at the anime for a good, long while wondering why Sherry had gotten a Z-ONE card and why she was super important - she wasn't like the others. Glad that you fixed that.

Ten people... Paradox, Antinomy/Bruno, Sherry/Chiasma... that's three. The question is, does Aporia count as one person or three (because I'd be surprised if it didn't)? And regardless, who woud the remaining people be? My hunch is that Yusei would be one of them, not sure about the others. Yusei's friends would be an easy answer, but I'd be surprised if ALL of them survived long enough in that future.

So, they still managed to beat Team Catastrophe without Aki, that's good. And now they have a lead to Bruno. Bruno, hun, you slipped up.

...I wish I could see the picture of seven-year-old Bruno though, he probably looks like the cutest little thing.

Now that I'm fully awake and have reread the story, I can review again.

I really can't wait to see what happens with Yugi and Judai, as well. Judai seems to be trapped... I hope that they can get him out soon, because it's so strange not having him be around. He, Yugi, and Yusei are a team (I once entertained thoughts of the three of them being a team in a future WRGP, haha.) So Seto Kaiba was lost during Zero Reverse, if I read it right? Interesting, though I know Mokuba probably had to be in the CEO position to make KaibaCorp help more.

The letter from Keiko was really touching. I kind of wish that we had gotten to see Hatori's letter, but there's probably a reason that you didn't show us that.

The reminders that just because the Satellite and the City are not connected doesn't mean that everyone just accepts everyone is a nice touch. A lot of people forget to touch on this when they write about later seasons of the anime.

Hopefully we get a happy ending here.

Oh gosh, I completely didn't realize that you were writing this! I'm glad I peeked in the 5Ds section again, because I was thinking "Hmm, I wonder if any new good fics are there".

I've always wondered what would happen if Paradox had managed to survive - I ended up writing a scenario with him surviving the duel as well, but I'm just glad that you and I ended up going in completely different directions, because if we hadn't, I wouldn't have ever considered posting it. XD

I did tilt my head at several things - Lucciano flipping out about Stephanie, making me wonder if she was his mom in the future. That would definitely explain why he was horribly triggered by seeing her.

Another thing that shocked me was Yusei losing the first match. That second one I definitely didn't see coming; that's a change from the shows.

I'm getting more excited, since it seems like the small changes are now becoming larger and larger, and I definitely can't wait to see what happens now. Hope you keep on going with this, because I seriously love it!

Nice story. I really liked the explanation you gave for why Paradox tried to kill Pegasus at that particular point in time. It answered what I feel was a big plot hole in the movie.

I also thought the letters Yusei’s parents left him were a nice idea, especially since the show never went into much details about his mother.

It looks like you’re hinting at Crow x Aki in Chapter 8 (not one of my favorite pairings, TBH, but whatever). Just out of curiosity, do you plan on including any other pairings?

I’m looking forward to what you have planned once the WRPG starts. I hope you have Aki defeat Andre, or whoever you have her go up against as her first opponent. The anime way overpowered Andre and Yusei IMO, and Aki shouldn’t have lost so quickly, seeing as she was such a strong duelist in Season 1. I also hope you have her compete in the WRPG more than just once, and come up with a better explanation of how she loses her powers and then gets them back (assuming you plan to include that in the plot at all), as I felt those were poorly handled in the anime as well.

Sorry if it feels I’m trying to force my ideas on you. I completely respect that this is your story and that you can take it in any direction you want.
