Thank you for this fic, I needed it after Season 6.

I have wondered what it is the Blue Lion looks for considering that Allura never really said and your explanation makes a lot of sense. Lance may not have a specialization, but he's the most well rounded of the Paladins and thus being able to pilot all of the Lion would showcase this very well.

I agree with Lance being the 'Heart,' after all he's the reason they were all able to get into space in the first place and he never hesitates to put himself on the line for others. When you put it like that, Allura is a more of 'Soul' than 'Heart' though she does have some of the latter's qualities.

Really, this confirmed to me the ideas running around my head after finishing season 5. Lance IS indeed the jack-of-all-trades and this could be explored upon in the upcoming season 6. Fingers-crossed.

To me, this fic could already be classified with canon right now seeing as how much it's idea is heavily implied in the show itself. Glad, someone has done it and wrote it for everyone to enjoy.

Although I see what you mean with Lance being the heart and Allura being the soul, I see it as the opposite. Allura is the heart because she helps to lead Voltron and the team know and are thankful for her support. Sometimes she messes up (like when she was acting extremely racist about Keith) but the team support her as she supports them. Lance is the soul because he practically watches over the others and points out their mistakes without even expecting a thank you most of the time, as seen in the later seasons. To me, the soul would be someone who does a lot and isn't always praised for it because the team are too focused on the heart but the soul doesn't mind... if you get what I mean? I'm not good with words XD

This story is one that I wish I could favorite a million times. It was so well written and thought out. The concept was amazing and one that I have contemplating for a long time. You wrote it perfectly using enough description to keep people engaged. AHHHHH! I loved t so much! Great job!
