I get the desire to make sure people understand the importance of this pandemic and your personal feelings but at least make this an authors note above a chapter instead of just this..

The people who are dying are on average 62 years old. This virus has killed less people in the world than the number of Americans who die of the common flu each year. It’s possible many people who have died were already ill with the flu and the virus was the final straw. The main stream media is full of narcissistic fear mongers who care only about stroking their false sense of superiority. They will lie and exaggerate any bit of news to cause chaos if it helps their false narrative of “orange man bad.”

People get sick all the time with viruses and then they get better and move on. Some may die but that’s life. Do we have to force a Great Depression to combat fear. The Great Depression led to Hitler and his national socialist gaining control of Germany.

We are so pampered and weak in the west. The last 60 years have been so great and prosperous that we as a society have become a bunch of pansy ass pussies.

“Stay safe” well how about stop being a fear monger beta pussy and just realize that sometimes life is inconvenient and a little dangerous. Hiding and shivering in your “safe place” only makes things worse and causes more harm than good.

More than anything else stop listening to the fake news and twitter feeds of people who get a kick out making other people suffer just to earn profit and make themselves feel superior. Your quality of life and sanity will improve greatly. This government forced economic shut down is only happening because of the fear mongering done by the fake news. When people begin to panic, even if they don’t need too, measures have to be taken in order to calm the people.

If those news organizations you were following actually cared about people they wouldn’t be pushing the apocalypse. Those evil monsters have no idea what type of fire they are playing with. When this blows over and people’s fear turns to anger it will be directed and the fake news and China. Dealing with China doesn’t involve potentially passing laws that can and will be abused. Holding the the fake news accountable for their lies may very well force some laws pass that will have some very BAD long term consequences down the road.

The fall out from this manufactured ordeal will be interesting to say the least. But one thing will remain the same. More people in this country will die from traffic accidents and the common flu then the combine number of people world wide who will die from the Chinese virus.

After reading about Kushina's uncle, I can see why Kushina gave up any hope about saving Naruto from his fate. After all the destruction of Uzu was a historic event. Honestly it's refreshing to see a story where Naruto will go down the path of chaos and destruction without wanting to. Please don't have him purify the sword or some such nonsense. I think it would be refreshing for Naruto to embrace the madness and focus it on Konoha making Mwnma so his best to defeat him. Because to often I see stories where Naruto after becoming so powerful steam rolls over every opponent and it really gets boring after a while. Hope to read more soon.

Love the story so far, I do have a few questions...How is Tsunade's hemophobia common knowledge? Also in Canon (not saying your story is following Canon storyline) it was said she's been out of the village for years... nearly as long as Orochimaru when he defected...there would have been countless ninja (not necessarily Konoha Hunter Nin) that would have went after her for her bounty...not to mention the debt collectors and the ninja and hunters they'd send...I just find it strange you made her Underpowered in that moment...those assassin's better be S Rank too...

So again, minato and jiraiya misunderstood the prophecy, since the nines are indeed bijuu and the "used to be the nine" is obviously kurama who given up most of his power and body to protect naruto.

Well, nice working on revealing the parents trying to control the prophecy to their advantage, now one can't help but hope that both Menma and Naruto get to prove them wrong big time, especially if the toads were to tell Jiraiya that Naruto was the cure for the sword. Hell, it would be amazing if Sasuke were to overhear things, and decides to ask the parents what were to happen if it turns out that they were wrong the whole time? If they are dumb enough to say that they could be a happy family again, with Naruto, Sasuke ends up asking them when was the last time they actually treated him as a son, and not some scour of the earth.

Although then again, I would like to see how the parents react when they finally realize that their plans were doomed to failure the moment they decided to tempt fate. In some ways, it would be a nice punch to the face for both of them once they see how things turn out for the better, with Naruto wielding a purified sword, the nine tailed-beasts working beside him without malice, that the cost of their actions finally come to light. With none of their kids no longer wanting anything to do with them, because they were already setting one up for death, and Tsunade stepping in to deliver the final blow by telling them things that they needed to hear. Especially the things that they could have been a part of, if they hadn't let things like a prophecies, or their own fears, become their primary concern.

I love the family and life Naruto has made. This is getting intense. This cliffhanger... ugh. Love this so far. I wonder what Tsunade will do and think when she finds out who Naruto is. Update and write on!
