I don't like it! Draco should not have ordered Hermione to stay behind and she definitely shouldn't have given in. It just doesn't seem like a good idea in the long run for him to be trying to pull rank on her when she has her own pack in her own right and for him to manipulate her with the kids is just total BS. How dare he infer that by her going with him she some how cares less about her kids, as if it has to be one way or another. How would he like it if she had pull the same thing on him and told him to stay behind and protect the kids. To be honest i think that would have been for the best anyway. Hernione is their face to world it seems like, she is the one who goes to the ministry and as unfortunate as it is, she is also not a werewolf. Discrimination still exists even if it is a lot better, but if there really has been some kind of werewolf attack it would make sense to send in the best person. to defuse the situation and that is not Draco. His comment of doing just fine before her is kinda back because the situation is vastly different. First of all they were a war, secondly he wasn't trying to be a diplomat on behalf of all werewolves, at least not in the same way. Representing weres to Voldie vs the Ministry are two very different things and besides he was trying to stay completely out of it before Hermione, he was avoiding both sides of the war.

Anyway, back to my main point, I just hope that something like this doesn't make her pack see weakness. They choose to follow her, not him and even if they have been leading side by side for a long time they still have never completely blended into one pack or else there would only be one alpha. Im super curious to see what the exact situation was anyway, I have a feeling Ginny might have her fingers in it...update soon!

Oooo, anything having to do with Voldie is no bueno, so just what exactly is it that Ginny was 'gifted'? Definitely worrisome. If anything it explains her reactions to Hermione with her first pregnancy. Ron would have most likely have eventually gotten over it, granted his temper always bulldozed over his logic but it would catch up eventually...unless he had someone like Ginny feeding into it. And we already know how sensitive he was to the locket so I don't think it is too crazy to think that whatever it is that is attached to Ginny might somehow feel that and since he was already exposed to Voldie's dark magic, whatever Ginny has might recognize it's 'brother' magic, they were after all from the same person and Ginny did say that dark magic always leaves behind traces. Of course I'm just speculating, lol. Im definitely looking forward to seeing where this goes, Draco and Hermione have a lot backing them and even these little packs that Cho has 'recruited' have admitted to respecting her so who knows how loyal they really are? Hermione might be a witch but she is an alpha in her own right and wolves can sense it, not to mention she has Dracos alpha blood and claim and it was already explained that a mated alpha is stronger than one who isn't so I can't help but think that maybe these lesser packs haven't met her in person because once they do, idk how long they are going to live up to their word in regards to Cho and Ginny, but it will be fun to see them try, hehehe.
