Damn this is really REALLY good! And yet, it has been over a year since it last updated, feels so bad D:

just wanted to point out, I meant to make this review last chapter, usually link starts in a worse position then Jean did. I think a link to the past and Link's Awakening we're both links that had no kind of training or anything whatsoever. being that this first link has all of those memories, he should be able to draw on those to understand how to train somebody who's not trained for combat but he's in a slight amount of shape without overdoing it. And none of those links had any more time then this one does so lack of time isn't really an excuse to push so hard.

I like your style with this, especially with Jaune and Link. Please keep up the good work.

Honestly, I'm sorry, but Link is wrong. The harder he pushes Jaune, the worse Jaune is going to do physically, because it forces Jaune to take longer time to recover and part of the improvement is loss as his body recuperates. He'll take far longer to grow stronger that way then if Jaune goes at a slower pace, pushing himself to a degree, but not too hard. I get that there's danger and they don't know when it'll come, but it doesn't do Link any good to have a half dead Jaune on his hands because he pushed him too hard too fast in preparation for something that could end up appearing some time in the future.

Now with that rant/thought out of the way, here's hoping that Ozpin soon realizes that as it stands, Weiss is screwing things up and he should reconsider the team assignments or leadership, So that way we don't have at least one team tear itself to pieces. *Shrugs* Then again, given how insanely stupid Ozpin is overall, it'd be canonical for him to not do anything about it. He suffers from the Dumbledorian complex, in having stupid plans but assuming he's the only one who possibly knows how to handle things when he doesn't actually handle things.

Other then those two points, this was overall a pretty good chapter, and we did get a bit of Jaune and pyrrha bonding, which I'm always happy with. Never mind canon, Arkos forever. *Nods* I hope they'll get more chances in the future without Weiss screwing things up, but I guess we'll see.

Keep up the excellent work, and I'm eager to see more, when you're able to write it.

It's slow going, but as long as it's going, then all is well! If you need a break, or have to take some time to write better or more, than do so. Hell, something that might help is going back and watching the first 3 seasons again (considering they were what inspired a huge portion of the fandom in the 1st place). We love your work, and especially when you write with inspiration rather than forcing the pen down. Of you need a break, or have to rediscover some passions, then take the time and steps to do so. We'll understand so long as you come back to us eventually ;) I enjoyed the chapter and hope to see more from you! Until then, good luck and take care!

In my honest opinion about Jaune, he is truly pathetic, and will STAY pathetic if he continues on being a student in Beacon. What he truly needs is experience, out in the world, battling monsters just like his previous reincarnation, taking in a Breath of The Wild to truly become a Hero fit to wield the sword that seals the darkness. Beacon is just holding him back and will continue to hold him back.

I was going to correct you on the number of sisters Jaune has, but I'm thinking maybe that was deliberate on your part. Otherwise, this was a nice chapter! Poor Pyrrha, though.
