I really loved reading this story. Not all recovery comes quickly and it's never a pretty road. You did an incredible job portraying that and being realistic. Another kudos is May's character portrayal: I never would have though, in a million years, that I would be able to realistically read an aunt may abuse fic, (never have before now). In my mind, May was just a character that could not be tarnished. However, in your writing, you did just that, (that's a compliment by the way). You realistically portrayed her in a way I have never seen her before, same thing with Peter. This was an amazing story and though I never thought I'd read something like this without rolling my eyes and groaning at the unrealistic portrayal, I am so glad that I did. I hope you continue writing, no matter what platform, because you're really good!

That second to last chapter has me crying. This is the best - albeit saddest - fan fiction I've ever read.
