I loved this! Héctor and Imelda are my favorite couple. The end was so sweet, and the scene where Imelda sees Hector’s body made me tear up. What a different history Miguel’s family would have if this had been the case! At least Hèctor will be in his family’s ofrenda. Keep writing - you are fantastic!

I think it's amazing the difference you made with the letter Hector sent. This is a completely different story thanks to that letter and I was amazed how you made Imelda put two-and-two together. If something, I felt it was too short, but it's kind of the charm of the story.

I wasn't expecting the twist of events there, very good intervention. It does make me think how news of her husbands' death never reached her ears.
