I’m enjoying this story very much - the variations from canon are well thought out and the characters nicely manoeuvred. Maybe Jane should meet Bingham, but be very reticent given Mrs Bennet’s determination that she and Mr Darcy are a couple. After all, Jane hates to rock the boat...

Well, that is all up to you, my good author! With your skill at writing, we are bound to be pleased with whichever route you take. Personally, I think Jane and Bingley should meet already, but Bingley will for some time longer still have his cap on Elizabeth. (soooo in for jealous Darcy-Bingley interactions.) It will take some important flash of insight or perception to clear away the cloud and see the angelic Jane instead.

As for now, I dearly hope you have more works to tide me over in the wait for the update D

I enjoy the mismatched pairings if I can say so but as well the competition that might start between the two friends? Or will the sisters sort it out for them?

I think they should meet, then you can have a few chapters of the couples hanging out together in various events, but speaking at cross purposes and misunderstanding each other as every one tries to politely keep to plan A or move to Plan B in the most disorganized fashion.

Mr. Bennet, or Charlotte, if not both, will see the problem and be very amused by it all. But ot helpful.

Please let them meet. I can't stand listening to Mrs. Bennet rail at Lizzy about Darcy! I'm enjoying it. Very good idea to let Darcy see what can happen because he did not deal with Wickham when he should have.

Please, make them meet at last. It would be even interesting if Bingley had a faux pas towards Lizzy due to give his full attention to Jane, and Darcy has to step in to help Lizzy and stay near her during the dinner.
