Oh, wow! I would not have such a crossover of emotionally volatile people placed in the same room - I can't believe it didn't lead to more of a disaster! And then giving information about the foster homes in front of both of Spencer's families - I'm going to guess protocol was skipped somewhere in there!

Great chapter for building up the tension even more. Spencer must be in complete agony. Oh, I hope that he is rescued soon! He doesn't deserve that!

Poor little Spencer! That is a terrifying chapter! Well-written to be terrifying! My heart breaks for little Spencer and the thousands of children experiencing abuse every day in the foster system. :'(

This was a good chapter. Lot's of drama and backstory in a nice mix. However, I would really push that you put a trigger label on this chapter and any other involving self-harm. Something like that can be extremely triggering to those with that tendency or who have seen it play out previously.

Again, it was great but it would be awesome if you could but in trigger warnings for those with mental health triggers. :)

Aww, I loved this ending. It's got a lovely bitter sweetness about it. Life is not perfect, even a year on, but things are definitely getting better, especially with the support of the team. I loved the little flashback to Rossi when Spencer was a kid, and how Reid acknowledged his years of love and support. Very touching. Beautifully written closing lines too, very poetic, and I liked how you tied in the title too. Really enjoyed this story from start to finish! Well done!
