This is the sort of thing that endeared Ron to me in the first book. Not only have Molly and Arthur taught their sons to befriend those in need, but to also those needs before their own. Ginny's reaction to Hedwig belonging to Harry was priceless.

It seems these missing moments can stand alone as one-shots. This one tears at my heartstrings because it's so easy to plug this story into canon. I really feel for Remus and can see how he's still denying himself happiness in the later books because encounters like this one have shaped who he becomes. Well done.

What a fun chapter. I especially liked how Harry turned the tables on the boys and convinced them that they needed to support their sister. I also really like how Harry and Ginny converted the roof into a play space; it's a great idea. I'm glad the boys were willing to share their experience with Teddy. Nicely done.

After reading your second chance story i wanted more of your writing. So i thought i would start with your A Different Beginning, however i have to say i was disappointed i could not get trough even the first two chapters, there was no emotion it felt very "flat". Then i saw that it was more then 10 years ago that you wrote that. so i thought to read these missing moments which are much more resent. And yes here i could connect with your writing style again, here i felt the emotions and forgot the time i was reading. You have grown a lot in the writing ability and style in the last 10 years!
as for more missing moments?
- Harry asking Arthur for his daughters hand.
- Jamie's first day at Hogwarts and McG's reaction
- Some kind of Confrontation/Talk of Harry with the Weasley brothers concerning him dating their sister. (because that is something all of them much have much anticipated, and then she shows up with the man who defeated Voldy!)
