Hmmmm, just gunna say, you accelerated the story too much. The characters feel like they have very little connection and not enough story to really give us a feel. Then you throw more at us. Too much. You had a good set up in the first chapter, but you didn’t really explore it all that much. You need to slow down, add some dialog, a few chapters worth of character development, then you can try and go with this storyline...which honestly feels more like your just trying to rush towards the end as fast as possible.

ah the age old question. The dragon who doesnt listen but indeed cares or the dragon who must babysit their riders but can sculpt mountains. hmmm that is indeed a tough question. Hookfang is bigger then Barf and Belch but he never listens and constantly sets his rider on fire. niw bark and belch have the old addage two heads are better then one. They're pretty smart, are loyal tona fault, and protect Ruff and Tuff sometimes from even themselves. It's settled, I pick Barf and Belch

Craig Ferguson is the dude who plays Gobber, he did a late late night show for a bit, and was quite good at it.

Now for the question, Stormfly. If you had broaden it to which dragon in general, Whispering or Screaming Death.

thats a tough one. i would say hookfang or stormfly because both species have secondary attacks from fire-breathing (setting themselves on fire and shooting spines).
on a side note, is there an animal-turned-human hybrid? or something like that? i think that might be pretty interesting, but i dont want to mess up the flow of what your writing. )

idk how you could pitch Gobber and Stoick against each other. they're the best of friends and battle brothers. nothing could make one turn on the other without a good excuse. As for the chapter, you threw me for a loop. All I can do at this point is wait and see where you go with this next.
