I just reread this and I love it

I can't stop. Imagining Harry telling them about first year and Quirrel. "Well in first year one of my professors tried to kill me. Turns out he was possessed by the being that murdered my parents." Harry said, "Most of the others are good. One hates me and one keeps viscous animals as pets. He's nice though. A real gentle giant."

Just found this, it is amazing! Maybe you could you the Basilisk as the reason? Just a thought :) please continue when you can I really want to see how this turns out :)

Quidditch was postponed in the 4th book for the triwizard tournament

I really like your story so far. I like how your using a different year Harry is in, alot of crossovers have him either between 4th and 5th or done all together. The only thing bothering me that you might want to consider if you rewrite is the chapters concerning Minerva. In the same day that they find out about his paternity she tracks them down and makes it back to the castle all before Harry wakes up in the infirmary. Maybe you should spread it out a little over a few days. I look forward to the next chapter, good job.

Just read up to this point and seems like a interesting story foundation. Probably biggest questions is if or when will they find out about each other's secrets, and how will they respond to each. Looking forward to see what path and method you use.
