Love the fact that you made Niftu Cal one of the most influential volus. This story is easily on par with OSABC II most hectic segments, and i love the way you guys wrote the whole files section of the volus. I would love to read a scientific or psychological paper made by Jacob, regardless of topic.

It is mentioned in chapter 3 that the ancient volus had some sort of firefighting agreements and some guy was setting fires in Irune's plains. I'm not entirely sure what is the atmosphere of Irune composed of but if it actually is ammonia and, as you mention in volus physiology chapter, sulfur, then I think fire can't occur there since there is no oxygen. Fire on Irune would likely be possible only in the oxygen deserts (and considering the atmospheric pressure it would be rather crazy). I'm no scientist though so I can be wrong of course.

If I'm right however I think it is quite interesting how fire is absolutely alien to the volus (also considering their relationship with fire-obsessed vorcha) and how their rocket engine equivalents (at least the earliest versions) had to work without oxygen.

Other than that it's an amazing work and I can't wait for more :)

The lost Boys are clearly insane to various degrees. It could be interesting to know how much was there vs what was brought by Rasa's conditioning and cybernetics.
I wonder why the Volus sent the Vorchas and mechs, since they look like to be interested only in waiting for the end of the fight and making money in that situation. If it was one of the groups there (the STG or Inalia or Kaltoth), it would be better to explicitly telling it.
