Reviews for Silk Stalkings Anthology Series
jenninemarie chapter 8 . 7/21
Loved this, I wish they started in season 4 together bc season 5 when they got together was the highest ratings it ever got, think of how it would of skyrocketed if they were together already in season 5, maybe they would not have left.
Guest chapter 4 . 1/14
The part where you placed the birthdays 2 months apart, my best friend and I were born exactly 2 months apart. Feels like this story is awesome. My best friend is a guy and we have been best friends for 27 years. Awesome short story!
Eagle32nd chapter 4 . 9/13/2018
Chris, I keep coming back and reading the Anthology, and this chapter in particular. Each chapter has been my favorite at some point, and right now it's "The Hurricane." I love the interaction you created and the effort needed to keep things platonic. I believe - though we only saw it a few times in the series - that Chris and Rita would have struggled with their feelings for each other a lot more than we were shown.

Great work!

Excellent!
keller12917 chapter 6 . 5/2/2018
I loved this! It's so much better than how they did it on tv. Why couldn't the writers of the show allow them to just go off together like this instead of having him killed off?!
keller12917 chapter 5 . 5/2/2018
Jillian is much more giving than most women would be. I don't think most would say go to her and tell her the truth. They would be ready to tear the guy limb from limb and Rita too.
keller12917 chapter 4 . 5/2/2018
Their love of older movies is legendary :)
keller12917 chapter 3 . 5/2/2018
She is right chocolate does seem to make things better for the most part. :)
keller12917 chapter 2 . 5/2/2018
Leave it to Chris to say something like he hoped his daughter read the boy his Miranda rights :) Too funny!
keller12917 chapter 1 . 5/2/2018
Reading these words of yours I could see the episode playing in my head. I remember how shocked I felt each and every time I watched it hearing Rita saying they needed a break. You could have heard me hit the floor.
Eagle32nd chapter 5 . 4/16/2018
Very nice, ChrisCorso! I think your treatment of Chris' time with Jillian in Boston was thoughtful and well done. I often imagined the encounter as somewhat angrier and more tense. But you had a good blend of Jillian's sadness, frustration, and her gracious resignation to the inevitability of Chris' feelings for his partner.

I think my favorite line is, "She'd been there too, of course; she was always there, that was the problem."

I've watched that final encounter between the pair in S04E21 dozens of times. Jillian's little glance towards Rita followed by a shake of the head and a roll of the eyes as she turns to go spoke volumes. Jillian knew the truth, but couldn't believe that Chris would pick Rita - another "just a cop" - over her.

Well written!
Cherylann Rivers chapter 4 . 4/5/2018
Nice chapter. The title "Hurricane" had more than one meaning in this context as they are "swept away" by each other. Nice romance interspersed with some action. :)
Sewtunes chapter 2 . 3/26/2018
Loved the twists and turns in this chapter as well as the way they are portrayed as a married couple. This is definitely how the series should have ended...
