AHHHHHHH! SO GOOD! I really felt that, felt all the frustration, all the sadness, all the happy moments... That little dancing scene with Hiccup and Astrid had me smiling way too much...
I will say that the recovery did seem a little rushed, like you weren't quite sure how to do it... But other than that I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

WOW, this is an amazing story. I enjoyed reading it and had endless fun with it. I cannot begin to describe with words how good it was. I thank so much for writing this story and I wish you to write more like this some day.

A bittersweet ending with a bittersweet title. The letter to Stoick as an ending was brilliant. You could really feel Hiccup's emotions even though everything turned out fine the guilt and sorrow still remain hence why it's so bittersweet, he hasn't fully recovered from everything. I find this ending very believable and relatable. This whole story was one heck of an emotional roller coaster and I enjoyed it sooo much.

My only question is was the slap he got from Astrid the reason as to why he got his memories back? I would really like to know, because if it is that's my only problem with this story. I don't really like the idea that he got back his memories when Astrid was about to leave him to suffer. I know you probably have a good reason but that's just me and my opinion. Everything else was well done. I've never felt so much excitement from reading a fanfic in a looong time. Hope you have more stories planned because I cannot wait to read them. Instant fav follow!

Like always, super hyper nice drama.

It was great to see Hiccup acting like a chief and dragon rider even if he didn’t remember anything.

He finally got his memories back, and that was because he broke down (which was one of the best scenes). Thanks Tuffnut. Plus,the amnesia helped with the problems he had before his incident. I like the irony.

The letter in last chapter is a nice idea.

This was a great story, I enjoyed reading it.
