An enjoyable and humorous story. Their little scheme to fool the court, was unexpected and I am surprised Imrahil didn't have an objection. After lots of fake or not flirting and misunderstandings, it ended pretty well for Lothiriel and Eomer. I loved the side story of an Amrothos in-love and his secret lady.

I love this story. It has the hobbits, Eowyn, hints of the war's ending, and I really liked Imrahil in this one. I think this is one of my new favorites. ~Avi

I knew it! Amrothos was hilarious in his flustered state, walking out of the room, clutching the portrait as if in a trance. Ha! That was great. Seeing as there are only two more chapters left, I'm pretty hopeful that a satisfying resolution will come about.

The ending of this story is delightful and I'm very amused that it happened in full view of ask if Eomer's guard.

Eomer seems to have found all the wrong things to say. I understand Lothiriel running away, it is too much to hear that your love regrets spending time with you. I’m really glad Lothiriel did have the courage to say her piece, that she would not regret any time spent with Eomer. I feel a bit depressed because it does seem that there will be no reconciliation for a long time. Maybe Eowyn after finding out the truth will coerce Lothiriel to attend her wedding.
