Love this story. I had to read the whole story over it had been so long. I can’t wait for the sequel.

I must admit I had to re-read this whole story to catch myself up, since it had been quite some time since an update. That was fine, however, as it is such a good story. I am definitely looking forward to the sequel to see if this will be an alternative version of how Louisa’s return to Portwenn might have been.

Sounds as if Louisa is about ready to do what she should have done some time ago. So, will we soon see her appear on Martin's doorstep? Nice to read about what might have been going on during those six months Louisa was away from the village.

This was an almost excellent chapter. The only thing that would have made it better was if Martin had to be called to see about Louisa. I can’t wait to see what happens next. It sooooooo hard! Keep up the good work️️️

Oh, my sometimes it’s so hard trying to be independent. I hope she gets help soon. Maybe she will realize after this she needs to tell Martin he’s going to be a father. Wonderful update.

Louisa - call an ambulance, not just your brother. But who thinks clearly when they are as sick as she is? Hmm. Lots of directions you could take this, and how long will it be before she finally decides to go back to Portwenn and tell Martin? Or will he be in London and run into her accidentally lots of possibilities you have set up. Good story

So, Holly bring Louisa a lovely gift for the baby. Will this salve Holly's conscience when she returns soon to tell Louisa she no longer has a job...that an unmarried pregnant woman is not appropriate in their school?
