Hmm, this fanfic ended a little sooner than your previous Clannad fanfics, but that's understandable, as the story arc's already as wrapped up as it can be, especially as we don't know a lot about Rie's character. I really enjoyed this ending, and I look forward to your future writing endeavors! My apologies for not giving a more detailed review of this chapter, but unfortunately I can't think of a lot to say.

I was playing Kotomi's route around a week ago, and when I got to Nishina I really wanted to see what a route with her would be like. This is a really good depiction of that! Fun stuff. The only issue I had came with chapter 17, felt a bit over the top, but outside of that everything has felt really well put together. Hope to get fully caught up soon!

This is an unusual chapter, in a good way. Tomoya gets a "light" as usual, but it's almost like the roles have been reversed: Tomoya was the one with the problem, and Rie was the one who had to track him down to fix it, in a reversal of how Tomoya usually gets lights by helping others. I look forward to more chapters!

Huh, you know I never really thought about it before, but it does seem like Tomoya's mother had to have blue hair in order for Tomoya himself to be born with blue hair.

Such feelings. It's kinda rare for Clannad fanfics to have a story with this level of depth in the characters

Hmm...when I first read this chapter, I thought the same section repeating three times was a technical error. Now I think Tomoya's either having a nightmare, or he's having a near-death experience.

Whew, this was a longer than usual chapter; you really put a lot of work into this one! Hmm, if Tomoya's sensing his mother and then seeing her...I'm betting he must be getting a glimpse into the illusionary world; maybe he'll need light orbs in the future.

I'm glad that Kotomi has another source of happiness developing, and that "souls growing closer through a held gaze" was an interesting twist; I look forward to seeing where this goes.
