Such a delightful story and so well-written! I love the floor scrubbing scene. It's both cute in the images you convey and meaningful in Han's realization that she is more comfortable with a slower pace.

It was so great to finally get to this! It’s just so well-written and carried me along as a reader. The bit about needing to pick up Freon on an ice planet seemed like such a real detail. Leia asking for Han’s help to avoid being caught staring. And omg omg omg that kiss in the south passage.

“In fact, her face had a lovely heat as she looked at his lips, then back up to his eyes. Well, okay then! He reached for her and kissed her again, longer, slower. Her arms came up between them, almost as if she thought of pushing him away, but she didn't. She only seemed to nestle closer to him.

Han carefully pulled her closer with one arm. He put his other hand on the wall behind them, afraid to completely wrap her in his arms for fear of scaring her away. “

Imagine that I was able to put all sorts of squeeing emojis here!

Liked Han rescuing Leia from the awkward situation. I liked your distinction between the different kinds of upset Leia (sparking, alive, giving her full attention
versus the kind that just made Han also feel sad and helpless).

“All he knew for sure was that she had kissed him and he knew her well enough to know that if she hadn't wanted to, she wouldn't have.” Loved this bit too, and the way you describe Han sitting at the computer station. And the convo between Han and Chewie.
Very in-character and in-world.

The neck kiss was also very lovely.

Leia and Han playing in the soap was incredibly cute.

I liked their intimate time in the cockpit.

“All of a sudden he seemed huge and with so much territory, she had trouble picking a safe place.
Han had no such trouble. His hands gently roamed her back, and reaching the top of her shirt, he rubbed her bare shoulders, pulling her even closer. When he shifted slightly and she felt his tongue graze her lips, her hands suddenly figured out what to do. She let them slide up under his arms, tracing the slightly flexing muscles.” I just really liked how this was written, especially the territory bit.

This was such a lovely moving along of their relationship. Loved that you dropped that Ord Mantell was right around the corner at the end there. Really good writing! Thank you for sharing!

This is a great story. The way you ramp up the tension with the 'truth or dare' game is just delicious.
Leia's description of Han being like an aldergull with the 'fanciest tail and the best mating dance' made me lol. You know I love Han Solo's fancy tail! And I especially adore the last line..it makes me happy sigh! :D

My favorite bit, though, is probably this: “His thumb stroked the side of her face, and as if he just couldn't help himself, he brought his lips back to hers.” :)

Ohhhh that "true or false" game was the best thing ever. My heart fluttered when Leia confessed to wanting to kiss him. But then, oh no! The moment is lost. I love the way you play with the push-and-pull, and I really appreciate your Han reflecting on his own desires, and why he's putting so much time and care into pursuing Leia. And his smooth moves, dimming the lights and contriving to bring her running to him in her nightclothes. lol Makes my heart ache, though, to think of it all falling apart again on Ord Mantell. Good job!
