Because this piece of Kai x Rei fiction seems absolutely wonderful, and so in-character, and so real... I can go on, really. I love how Kai tries to find the simplest forms of joy and happiness in life- like whilst learning how to play soccer, as you have imagined here. Kai, here, really speaks to me. The fall of his mask seems true and plausible and... genuine.

And Rei seems just as happy.
