This chibi Naruto is a good friend. I loved him in canon (for 75% of the story), but I prefer your chibi Naruto.

This kiddie Sasuke is like a mix of his canon self an' preteen Sasuke, except he has friends instead of annoying teammates.
Aww, man! It annoys me a tiny mini bit that Naruto has a tantō coz I've got a headcanon of Sakura using 1 since Wiki says she has a tantō at some point though I'm not really annoyed more like taken off guard since Naruto wielding a tantō is new to me an' wow I'm rambling. Sorry if I've annoyed or offended ya!
*grins in utter joy at child-Team 7's very realistic yet 100% In-Character friendship*
*freezes at the sight of blood, then feels increasingly horrified & terrified as the scene aftermath-of-infamous-Uchiha-massacre continues* No... NO! I should've seen this coming but it's a complete shock an' now chil-Team 7 is in danger, my heart's breaking for Sasuke, even though I know his canon reasoning I still keep pleading "WHY, Itachi?!", holy chiz.
SWEET CHEESECAKE, Itachi used Tsukiyomi on child-Team 7 an' he & lil Sakura met her older self & Sai! *feels torn between devastation an' excitement & happiness & wariness*

This is a fanfic; it's supposed to be self-indulgent, coz you're the person who puts in all the work of figuring out how to deliver your story while not letting it become boring or the Protagonists unrecognizably O.O.C but still make it a fun tale to read (or at least all of that is what I do). Point is, who else is gonna provide what cha like if you don't provide it for yourself? *scratches back of head, grinning sheepishly* Make sense?

Holy chiz, the Team 7 friendship is so ADORABLE an' waaay better than in canon (Part 1 had brilliant potential & in 'Boruto' it's good, but Shippuden Team 7 is far too toxic for all 3 of 'em for their rekindled friendship at the end to be healthy).

well at least now she has more long distance and stealth capabilities.

(yknow what if the harunos just adopt all of team7 in a way. just imagine... team dinner at sakura's, which coincides w mebuki and kizashi visiting...

"sit down hatake" mebuki stares him down sternly, her hold on the spatula dangerously strategic.

kakashi freezes.

kizashi enters the cluttered dining area, dressed in a frilled pink apron w "no.1 dad" stitched messily in bright orange.

he sets down the crock pot.

"you've arrived, kakashi-kun!" he greets, ignoring the staredown his wife was having w her children's jounin sensei. his eyes zoom in on the fruit basket in his arms.

"oh my, did you bring fruit? winter melon!" he swipes the basket from him, excitedly hollering in the direction of the kitchen. "kids! your sensei brought peaches!"

three heads pop into his field of vision. they are all... covered in flour.

sakura's eyes are gleaming. naruto looks suprised to see him. sasuke calls out:

"are there tomatoes?"

before he can say no, it was a fruit basket, another voice beats him to it.

"tomatoes are not 'fruits', duckhair," a dark head joins them.

sasuke tried scowling, but it came out as more of a... pout. "are so," he mutters lowly, but kakashi hears him anyway.

before he can ponder about the unknown figure so close to his students, said boy calls out to the haruno matriatch.

"mebuki-san, the rice cake is turning brown."

as if on cue, a burning scent drifts into the dining room.

"oh no," she makes her way back to the kitchen, but turns back one more time to lock eyes w him. "please take a seat, hatake-/kun/" then she smiles in a way that reminds him of the way his female student does which sends her teammates hurrying and, yes, haruno females are scary indeed.

five figures disappear from sight, their voices blending into a mix of noise. at one point, he hears a high 'no!' before the noise dies down suddenly. kakashi stands awkwardly, half a mind to dismiss himself then and there.

then kizashi turns around and says to him, "just sit tight! we'll be done soon. help us watch for flies, will you?" and he /smiles/ and kakashi corrects himself, /harunos/ are terrifying.

..why did i do this. im no writer. also plot hole, i wrote jounin sensei while thinking of young kids.

oh, wait, if they are like kurama, does THAT MEAN THEY CAN BE UNSEALED AND RELEASED? THEY CAN EXIST IN THE PHYSICAL REALM?! AAAAAAAAAAA! DID U LEAVE THIS LIL BIT THERE FOR SUCH A PLOTLINE? HMM?

and ofc i believe they gave naruto a tanto. i accept it! and i shall now fade away.

Hmm, I wonder if her original personality will be overtaken by Sai's (if what he has is even a personality, lol) and Older Sakura's? Interesting.

Okay this was so so so so so good. I love that Sakura is a believable child and how logically the story progresses. I wonder how Naruto will use that tanto? Will it change his fighting style much or just be a new fun quirk? Also, HER EYES CHANGE COLOR WHEN SAI’S MEMORIES SURFACE? Or he takes over? Idk I don’t know if I read that right but DAMN I love this so far. And I love that she sees the time-traveling pair that’s residing in her through the Tsukiyomi. How will Itachi react? Will his knowledge of that change the storyline? Raise hell, beautiful author of happiness, raise hell.

Very interesting. I can’t wait to see where this story is going. I like what I’ve read. Please continue with this refreshing story. I hope to see and update soon.

Hi :D This sounds really interesting. It seems like Sai's mind is in Sakura's body. Really cool idea. I guess Sakura has some abilities, like foresight or something. But since she's only about 6/7 she hasn't figured it out herself yet :)
I love kiddy-Naruto & co~ They're so innocent and cute~ Aww~ I thought Sasuke was a bit OOC, but i forgot at this time Itachi was still there. And the rest is up to everyone's imagination, so it does fit him :)

anyWAY, gr8 to see the harunos welcome dear fishcake child into their life. awkward baby sasu-chan is awkward. while i do not doubt sakura got sick from the rain, i do doubt naruto being the same, since, jinchuuriki. i do, however, 100 percent believe naruto refused to leave her alone, and therefore he missed school. hah.

so both naru and saku pranked the whole class? (yknow, the sai-in-sakura's-body is becoming alarmingly clear. he would certainly build companionship w indulging in bonding activities. it just so happens its pranking!)

love how the pair got to spar, and sasuke's interest in their techniques. his line of 'please teach me' is incredibly perfect because it builds up naruto's self-confidence after the 'dismissive teacher' spiel more than a 'the thing u did was cool' because sasuke is like, top of the class, and 'he wanted to know what i did?'

love that.

also the olive branch sakura extends to him tho. and calling them first name basis? love? LOVE! it's so easy to forget formalities in fanfics because some of them are 'established ties fanfics' but then this kind of thing pops up and i go 'yes... Yesss... YESSS!'

side note how is fugaku gon react when his son is on first name basis w the village pariah? im curious abt how you will characterise the uchiha family, and their relationship w minato plus kushina in general. will itachi get jealous of his brother's new playmates, i wonder? ohohoho.

in other musings, i am def interested in how things have been working out out of the povs. if any plan has been set in motion for example. was sai the only one to make it back? (im still sticking to this theory, rip my smug ass if im wrong.)
