I'm legitimately mad that you killed Spottedleaf. You gave her such a fun personality and then killed her off. I'm going to go cry in a corner now.

So I finally got around to reading your story and I have to say that enjoyed it. There's a couple time-travel fanfics floating about on the site with Firestar as the main protagonist but I think this one is my favorite.

That's not to say your story is perfect. There's a lot of weird transitions. You use sayings that the clans just didn't use and they hardly make sense in the context of the Warriors universe. You let your human voice sneak into your writing a lot. Certain characters just feel weird. A lot of what feels to be OC behavior. There's sloppy writing in certain parts and some formatting choices that impact the reader in a negative way. You also tell us a lot of things, but don't show them. You should always show, not tell.

Despite this your story is earnest and charming in a way I just can't quite describe. The whole thing just brought a smile to my face. Branches feels fun to read. The scene with the spider was wonderful. It's clever, amusing, and shows a level of detail and thought you don't see in most fanfiction. The whole story is stock pilled with these moments and I eagerly look out for more.

The character's (Like Firepaw, Yellowfang, Tigerclaw, Bluestar, Spottedleaf, etc.) read funny, but they remained to fun to read and I didn't find myself that bothered. Their personalities might be different from canon, but they feel fleshed out which in the end I suppose is all that matters. Starclan was also interesting and I'm glad you explored it a bit even though I felt that certain parts got confusing.

Overall there's just something odd about your story that makes it work. Time travel fanfics I've found can get boring rather quickly as things either escalate to fast or the author is to afraid to even explore the butterfly effect at all. The most important aspect of a story after-all is to keep the reader interested.

Branches has not bored me.

Amazing! I'm so glad I found this, really loving the changes in this story. The character development is phenomenal, and the story is very well written. You're a great writer! I do hope to see more, take as much time as you need.

Awesome! The divergence in plot is slowly revealing itself. I'm glad Lionheart lives but it's weird to know that Tigerclaw isn't blood/power hungry? Or is he hiding it really well? That's yet to be seen. Aww Firepaw...it's difficult knowing how much one tries, certain fate and destiny, and death still claims a life. I'm sad to see Spottedleaf go. You definitely written her to have more personality and a likeable one too. The ending is thrilling!

Also, putting in some fun laughable moments in here was great! Love the spider scene with the apprentices. Had a great laugh from that. I just knew something dark was after and viola! You did not disappoint!

It's been a while since I've found something I actually enjoy reading, awesome work.

Only gripe I have with this is that you seem to repeat figures of speeches a lot haha.
