Do you know at what point iin a pregnancy it's advised to avoid sex? After your water breaks. And even that's purely due to the risk of infection. Having an orgasm late in a pregnancy can set off a small contraction, but it's fine. If you're having twins you shouldn't get jiggy with it after about 7 months though. Giving up sex as early as Harry and Tonks did is pointless. Unless Tonks' sex drive changed, many prengant women experience that.

It's just as safe and healthy for a pregnant couple to have sex as it is for any other couple.

Hermione's so silly. Why should an existing pregnancy, one that's not even visible yet, keep people from having sex? I've never been pregnant, and as I lack the proper facilities I won't ever be, and I've never been with a pregnant girl, but as far as I know you need to be a bit more careful during the last few weeks of a pregnancy and not all positions are available at some time but everything else goes.
