I could see jaune and yang kinda becoming the mother and father parental type figures of the group especially since they are the ones used to parenting or helping to take care of younger siblings plus yang is team rwby’s mother hen abd jaune has motivational dad speeches up the wazoo.

I think Oscar Pine should have the Spirits, he is similar to Koichi in that regard of them being the "6th Ranger" of the group.

As for your questions:

1. Zoe should find her spirit either during Devimon's first attack, or when Devimon seperates the kids, with her ending up possibly with TK, since he was alone.

She can get her spirit in the picture of the angel.

2. TK with him playing a small guitar or a flute.

3. I'd say either Nora or Neon Kat from RWBY, or Ilia.

Nora should be obvious, while Neon manipulates light through her weapon.

Ilia, possibly a way to track Yang.

Though, you may want to have Yang and TK form a little brother/big sister bond, since he's so innocent, and having him interact with Yang can keep her from feeling betrayed.

(Note, I'm only suggesting that, since TK is technically the youngest, and Matt can't always be there.)

I can see Cherubimon choosing Cardin Winchester to be Electromon.

Author too stupid to know what the meaning of cluck is. The only definition of cluck is the sound that a hen makes. Everyone knows that. If you wanted Yang to call them idiots than do so. Don't do things that will baffle people. I don't care about today's bullshit definitions of words. It disgusts me.

Ruby Rose for the Spirits of Darkness please.

Almost all of the characters are unrecognizable, get into a lot of antics for the sake of it without advancing the plot, a lot of impersonal remarks by the author shoehorned in for what he/she thinks is added "humor", and a glaring lack of sobriety to keep it engaging.

I think that Ruby feeling guilty about not believing Yang found her way into the Digital World and Cherubimon using the guilt to give her the Spirits of Darkness
