I read all these chapters in 2 days after finding it and you did an amazing job and I can’t wait for the next chapter after that cliffhanger

Absolutely phenomenal, when I first discovered this story I was captivated from the originality of the plot, the depth of character exploration and development, as well as enthralling fluidity that the author writes with. This is true gem of a tale, and I have waited endlessly for each new chapter to introduce more of the characters I have become endeared with. I love how Jack has such intricate details woven into his personality and past (I know we will discover more of his childhood later on). How Vivian will affect his life will be interesting to say the least, and little Nick as well. I can say that I was not surprised about Jack being part wolf since it was implied multiple times (now Jack discovers it in his 20's). I cannot wait for the continuation and to observe how the tale plays out, I expect there will be more surprises to come and I am waiting eagerly on the edge of my seat.

This was awesome! Thanks Concern, I did guess Jack is a hybrid. It was nice to see him making friends with soldiers and hyping himself. Funny how Jack is in love but doesn't realize it. Can't wait for next chapter! Although I really hope we don't have wait like 10 more chapters until Jack sees Nick and Vivian again because that's forever.

I'm looking forward for this middle east deployment chapters to end. No offence, but they are kinda boring. The premise of the story is supposed to be Jack bonding with young Nick and being his new father figure (I mean, it's the name of this fic), but they barely interacted so far. Same with Vivian.

Pleaseeeeee keep this going I just found it, and binged it, and now I'm out of chapters. I love the premise, the romance is developing nicely, and the characters are mostly believable. So kudos to you on that

Thanks for another amazing chapter of AFF. Glad Jack is getting some help and it's so cool that he doesn't regret any one of his victims. Although he's not a psychopath as we saw he didn't kill that kit earlier even though it he was dangerous. You really make him interesting and compelling.

As for the whole Vince/Jackson/Vivian love triangle I personally ship her and Jack but I think Vince can be like a uncle to Nick. But that's just what I think should happen but at the end of the day it's your story and the final decision is yours. This story has earned a spot in my favorites list as have you.

What a nice chapter, pretty chilled and happy.
Vince has to understand that getting Nick to like him is not supposed to be a means to an end. He might have a better chance if he starts showing true interest in the little fox, the Wilde family is a full package after all. Also, Vince has a hell of a rival so he better be prepared.

So far, Vivian has established a healthy and supportive social circle. They can be a good support for Nick as well, however, I'm more Concerned-*giggles*(please kill me)-about his new life at school. Hopefully, he can find real friends now.
