I love coming back to read this. Story is just touching and beautiful. Honestly if you ever think of "What is a nice story?", this would be the definition. It was brilliant.

I love how you say so much without actually saying it. Even your section titles are merely Harry's age. And you somehow made me nostalgic for something I read two paragraphs ago.

This is one of those "impossible to exist" stories that one would love to read full-length but the brevity itself is part of the story's charm.

Sweet, but that Ginny part was complete unneeded. I'd never understand why authors include this kind of bullshit in their stories. "You're the most important person in my life, but I'll date another". How is that realistic or even logical?

Why did he even fate Ginny though? That seemed random especially after saying he was gonna cut out the first wife anyway. What was the point not cutting out dating another?

Okay, I think my teeth have rotted. This was like sickening sweet and I loved it. I think my favorite thing about this is how it went parallel to the books; you can't disprove that this happened. I think that makes it a wonderful twist on the pairing.

I was definitely intrigued by HarryDaphne, and you handled it well. I liked the little stolen moments and how Daphne was throughout. They truly had more of an understanding of each other, and I really liked that.

I giggled at the exchange about first wife/second wife. I am slightly disappointed that there was no murder in the fic. Man, take all the fun out of it, why don't you?

I'm still not over how you flawlessly went through the years without changing the events that actually happened. It was beautifully done.

I’ve never shipped Daphne/Harry, but after reading this, I just want to read more about them.

I liked how genuine the piece was. The language and emotional maturity seemed to change and grow with the characters as they aged, which gave it an air of authenticity that is sometimes missed when authors write about younger characters.

I also liked Daphne’s cool manor and her dry humor - she was almost exactly as I imagined her. The line about her becoming his second wife, after the first dying under mysterious circumstances was both hilarious and an interesting take on the prompt (I’ve actually been waiting to read that prompt in a story since I first saw it)

Harry finding comfort in Daphne, especially as she is the last person he expected to become friends with, was really sweet and I liked that you took their relationship further than just banter and flirting.

I can’t get over how much I enjoyed this, it was funny, witty, clever, authentic and very well written. The teasing banter that existed between the two was the perfect example of the above.

I’m not sure if I know you well enough to say this, but you are a fucking incredible writer. I loved this!
