I would find it hilarious if something different from what I'm expecting happened. Like Marcus falling in love with the Star who's dating Tom over the time he bonds with her.

I'm glad to have found this story when you decided to continue on with it. This is an incredible AU concept and it just makes me really antsy for what is to come.

I gotta say that Marco being treated like crap and Stella losing everything; I feel those two deserve each other like getting a second chance. But I also feel for Marcus who wants his old life back, but at the same time I don't know if I would be accepting for him to return to his old life. It is clear that Marco adores Star/Stella and it would feel hollow, at least to me, if he tried to be with Kelly or Janna. He deserves to be happy with his new life, but...

This is the kind of turmoil I experience reading this story. I'm hopelessly addicted, confused, excited, all of the above. To say the least, this story has captured my attention to the fullest. Just three chapters in, and this is one of my personal favorite SVTFOE stories to date.

I'm throughly and eagerly awaiting for more.

This chapter was great again. im a 100% starco fan, so normally, my favorite couple is easy. so you doubled the stars and marcos. do i ship stella and marco, seeing how their feelings for each other are like new beginnings? Star and marco, finally understanding their feelings. marcus and stella, a second chance at their love? Marcus and star? I dunno, im feeling that one as much as i can get behind Tom and Star :/. Tom and Janna? They get along well in certain fanfics ive been feeling them as a couple.

You know, I could see it going down something like this:

Once Star and the gang finally do get to the other Mewni and find Marco, Star asks him to come home. However, Marco refuses, because he doesn't want to go back to how things were. Back home, Star often ignored him and it really hurt. But here, the other Star, or "Stella", cares about him greatly, and he's decided he wants to stay forever, regardless of how much Star begs him.

However, complications arise when Stella and Marcus finally reunite, and Stella is faced with a choice: take back Marcus and run the risk of hurting Marco again, or stay with Marco and run the risk of hurting Marcus. She ends up taking Marcus, much to Marco's heartbreak, and he struggles to keep it together from being rejected by two different Stars. Then Star comes in and has to comfort him, and Star is also forced to confront her true feelings for Marco, as well as Marco's feelings for her.

Then it could go two different ways from there. Star either lets him down gently, but still promises to be a better friend, or she breaks up with Tom to explore her feelings for Marco (I think we all know which ending I prefer).

… But I could be completely wrong. I'm not the one writing this story, after all.

I haven’t even read this yet but the mad coincidence I just recently read this and was seriously disappointed there want more and now there’s a new one out of no where freaks me out.

Glad this story is back. As much as I despise Tomstar in the canon show I can somewhat tolerate it here. I'm curious to see how both sides learn as they go along. This should fill the void Connecting Troubled Souls left since I was really into that story before it vanished xP.

love the assertiveness of Marco. not backing down even with Marcus taunting him. Though I wonder if he will tell Stella about Marcus being alive. It would look bad if he didn't.

Conflicted Star is still conflicted, and I feel that Marcus won't have such a good time on the double date.

Alright, so, the show is over: Could you, pretty please, finish this story? I simply cannot get enough of these good "disillusioned 3rd-season Marco takes a chance at something different" stories. I don't care if it's got a good or bad ending, just please continue this story... it's fairly enjoyable.
